The Roisin (pronounced Row-Sheen; meaning little rose in Gaelic) Academy of Irish Dance located in Syracuse, is made up of dancers ranging from Beginner to Champion levels, under the direction of Lisa Lonergan Abel TCRG. Lisa is a licensed Irish Dance teacher, certified through the An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha (the Irish Dancing Commission) in Dublin, Ireland.

The Roisin Irish dancers successfully compete in local, Regional, National, and World Championship competitions year round. Roisin Academy is a one of a kind Irish dance school, focused on team atmosphere and instilling confidence in the many talented boys and girls that make up the school. ​When they are not competing, Roisin dancers have fun performing in shows throughout the Syracuse area including schools, nursing homes, weddings, name it! 

The Academy's mission is to teach the values, tradition and love of Irish Dance in a positive, hardworking atmosphere. Lisa dedicates her life to training dancers to the best of their ability; showing them the endless opportunities attainable through hard work and optimism.
